The house was beautiful, clean and we had a lovely stay. I would suggest you get a new sectional for the living room. We could only sit on one end because the other end was next to impossible to get up out of. The springs on the back of the sofa are all broken and poking out of the back fabric, walking behind that someone could get seriously hurt and cut real bad. Adding what type of coffe pot would be very helpful so your guests know what type of coffee is needed. K Cups or what type of filter. The house is too close to the street and very dangerous, cars fly by you here the noise of the traffic. Other than that if you don’t have a per traveling with you I would highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Even though there were only 2 of us (and the dog). We would certainly go back with another couple, it is ideal for that as there was plenty of room and we could each have our own king/bath combo. That is hard to find AND the property was central to our activities.

This was an ideal place for our family to stay during the JMU family weekend visiting our son in college. It was beautiful, quiet and away from the ruckus of Harrisonburg while at the same time only 20 minutes away so that we could attend all of the things we as parents want to do with our kiddos at school. It was also only 25 minutes from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The only bump in the road was flying in late from California (takes 7 flight hours and another 2 driving to get there) through a hurricane and having a three hour time change and being told at 8:30 in the morning that someone would be arriving IMMEDIATELY and we had to answer the door and make the place available for their maintenance people. There was no question, request or them doing it the day before when no one was in it (they offered to sell us another day earlier at half rate but we weren’t flying in then) or after. We were told there would be flashlights when we got back on the 2nd night as they were expecting power outages (again hurricane rains) and there weren’t any but luckily we didn’t lose power. i’m giving it five stars only because it was an ideal location and a really beautiful place. But communication with mgmt and consideration for us could have been a little better. That being said, we would stay there again and just hope that this was a fluke that doesn’t happen often.

Lovely property with lots of room, spacious yard for our dog and nicely stocked with cook ware. We loved the area because the local "resort" has something for everyone whether it be skiing, water park, golf, etc. Tripforth was easy to work with. We will be returning!

Love the property for everything it was so quiet and relaxing. The house had everything you needed. We did bonfires in the back. The resort itself has so much stuff to do. It was overall a very happy vacation definitely will come back.

Me and my family enjoyed our spring break at this facility. The only downfall to our stay is not having propane so we could grill wasn’t too sure if we were supposed to buy more or the property was supposed to provide it, but that was the only issue we had with the property.

This was a great place to stay. Pet friendly! Plenty of room. Would recommend hooms in the bathroom to hang towels. Would also recommend the host to prepare a book for renters that would list the area amenities. Would definitely go back.

Great house and location near Massanutten

Really enjoyed our stay. House was clean. Firepit area looked nice through we didn't use it. Plenty of parking for a three-bedroom house. Kids really enjoyed the foosball table and multiple tvs. We were prepared for the "odd" layout (one master bedroom upstairs, two bedrooms [one without window] downstairs) based on other reviews, and it worked fine for us. We split one parent/one kid upstairs and one parent/one kid downstairs. We had so much extra space. Would be perfect for two couples or two families with children if one could share a room with kids. Location was slightly outside the "main" Massanutten gates, just about two minutes from the waterpark, which the kids enjoyed. We also went on some of the hiking trails in the area, to a couple of very convenient restaurants and a pet-friendly winery. We got the included passes for the pool/rec center at Massanutten but didn't end up using them. The only caution is for families with pets and small children: the house is not on a busy road - it's mainly local traffic - but the cars that come, come fast, and there is no fence for the yard or sidewalk for walking dogs. Lots of trails within a short drive, though!

Great location for access to the park, which was our primary purpose of the stay. However, the proximity to the resort was great as the kids loved the waterpark. The property was clean and tidy, everything was provided and it was a very comfortable stay. Would certainly recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

The house was perfect for our family and excellent yard for dogs. Might need to have the air conditioning checked out as it did get a bit warm upstairs in the afternoon but wasn't hot enough to complain. I would definitely recommend to others and hope to stay here again next year!

We really enjoyed this rental. It was close to Massenutten and convenient to Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah National Park. The only downside was that they were still cleaning when we got there so we could not check in immediately- no big deal, just a little annoying since we had our dog.

The house is very spacious for 6-8 people. The place is spot clean and very inviting. Tripforth and Massunutten staffs are quick to respond with our questions and needs. We loved the resort and plenty of stuffs to do especially if you love nature/outdoors. Make sure you check Shenandoah National Park!

We had a wonderful time At TripForth's location. Appreciated the AC after long mornings of hiking, and the house was both spacious and clean. Plenty of towels for all of us, and location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do in Shenandoah. It was also nice to have access to the resort pools and fitness room (although we didn't end up having time to use them). Overall, great trip! Thank you!!!

great location. fantastic communication. ball, I let host know and the next day we had them on the front step. Just be sure to bring dish soap and cooking ingredients (salt, pepper, oil etc). they do provide nice shampoo etc.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this cottage. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Massanutten with a 4 legged family member and children. The cottage was immaculate and updated . It was very comfortable fir all of us to spread out and enjoy some down time. The house is on a large, private piece of land and is quiet and serene. The best part was we were so close to the Massanutten Resort and was able to enjoy the amenities on the property. We enjoyed the indoor waterpark, hiking , and a mountain horseback ride from a ranch only 30 minutes from the cottage. Tripforth was very responsive and accommodating during our stay. We really enjoyed our mini vacation and made lots of memories in the mountains ?

The house was great - all of the beds were comfortable; had more than enough pillows, blankets etc..for everyone. The kitchen had everything to be able to cook meals for four days for a bunch of hungry skiers :) TVs in every room was a great option, so people could rest a little if they wanted to by themselves. Location is nice - right off a side road: 2 minutes away from the water park/arcade and maybe 5-7 minutes away from the ski trails. Great experience all in all: would definitely stay here again!

Beds are extremely comfortable. Every bedroom had a nice TV. Very clean. Lots of parking. Easy access to main roads. Some areas modern, some dated (e.g. bathroom fixtures, kitchen).
