Near Massanutten Resort, Charlottesville/UVA, and Harrisonburg/JMU, wineries, and hiking, The Black Oak offers complete relaxation less than two hours from Northern Virginia. With carefully selected furnishings, hand-restored reclaimed woods, and attention to detail throughout, The Black Oak vacation home was designed to give you and the people you love a space for meaningful connection. The spacious layout, including en suite bathrooms, is designed to create an ideal space for friends and families to comfortably stay together in a gorgeous mountainous setting. The Black Oak boasts 2,627 spacious square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 10 beds, occupancy up to 13 persons, and much more.

Bedroom Three "The Buffalo Room" (upstairs): Seven Twin Size Beds (two sets of bunk beds, two trundle beds, and a small private room with a single twin bed), en suite bathroom with a single sink vanity, toilet, and bathtub/shower. Sleeps 7 All bedrooms have blinds to enable deep, comfortable sleep.

Bedroom Four (basement): Queen bed. Sleeps 2.

INDOOR LIVING
Open floor plan, main floor with luxurious 10' ceilings with panoramic view windows. Living room with high quality couch, loveseat, leather chair and ottoman, coffee table, wood burning fireplace (for use October through April), and cozy throw blankets. Recreation room upstairs including couch, loveseat, ottoman, and bookshelf filled with books and games. 55" High-Definition Smart TV with over 200 channels and DVDs. Game room in the basement with air hockey, foosball, and ping pong.

KITCHEN
Fully equipped and well-lit gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, deep sink, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, ultra-efficient convection cooktop and hood, wall oven and microwave, toaster, coffee maker, various pots, pans, dishes, utensils, large island, three bar stools, matchless picture window, and casual dining room with table for six. Enjoy pure mountain water drawn from 505' deep in the mountain, filtered for the entire home.

GENERAL: Full size washer and dryer upstairs. Please keep in mind, the house is CHILD FRIENDLY, BUT NOT CHILD PROOFED.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Outdoor patio and firepit with five Adirondack chairs and large Weber charcoal grill. Screened-in porch with comfortable couch, two chairs, two ottomans, pillows, ample lighting, and all-season fan. Upper deck with two rocking chairs. Lower deck with invigorating outdoor cedar shower (for use May through September) and year-round all-weather 24/7 hot tub (open air but fully covered under roof) with relaxing recliner facing mountain views. The Black Oak is situated on 3 acres with a private driveway, no homes in front, a cabin over 500' away in the rear at lower elevation (i.e., it does not impede your mountain view), and mature trees between cabins on left and right over 75' away.

DRIVEWAY NOTE: The driveway leading to this property is on an incline, as this home is located within a mountainous region. We advise our guests to use caution when navigating entry into and from property. 4WD is not required to access the home during normal weather conditions.
