Enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area and especially the personal sauna in the unit. This is our fourth time at mountainside villas and look forward to the next time.

Beautiful 2 story gas fireplace, had a loft with 2 beds in it, plus 2 bedrooms and the couch pulled out. Kitchen was nice and had everything you needed in it. Sauna in the unit!! I can’t think of anything. It was perfect for our family of 4.

We had a great stay MLK weekend for a ski trip with teens. Although only two bedrooms the loft provided a great hang out space and the eating area was spacious and kitchen well stocked (although note no spices/salt and pepper as some personal VRBOS have). We never ran out of hot water which is a plus with a lot of people! Just one street up from the ski resort! Passes to the Rec center and a borrowed crockpot from the rental office were appreciated! Welcome kit included enough paper products for the weekend. Note not easy access in snowy conditions for anyone with physical limitations but was great for us! It snowed 4" while we were there. Stair access from a walkway to nearby parking lot. Sectional shown in picture had been replaced by sleeper sofa and loveseat. Overall a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again for ease of use, access to ski resort and price! Fun ski trip!

Everything was great! From the location to a size of the house all was really perfect! Would stay there again and again. Deers come up very close to this place, it was very unique to see that. I wish there would be at least basic toiletries in all bathrooms

We visited Massanutten for the first time for a family ski trip. The villa is very spacious, the in-unit dryer was very convenient for drying out damp clothes. The sauna was also a wonderful ending to a long day of skiing. It’s a quick 2-minute drive to the parking lot and we walked right onto slope. Family would love to visit again.

The location was great and the check-in process was easy. The unit was clean and had a beautiful view of the golf course. The sauna and the hot tub in Villa was a great bonus. The fake fireplace was a letdown. I stayed in other units in Massanutten that have a real gas fireplace and that was way better . The unit looks pretty dated inside. Early 2000s, just needs a refresh and more comfortable beds.

The location is perfect for the price. You can not ski out of the unit, but it is a short 3 min drive to the ski lift. The property is spacious and has plentty of room for all residents to "congregate". Wonderful view of the golf course off the first and second floor decks, deer is practically living in the back yard and eating from your hands. The Campfire Grill and the Rec.center is a short 3 min walk. Sauna is a perfect option! everything is clean and works!!!Definitely recommend for skiing and mountain exploring.

Nice clean townhome with a beautiful view, very spacious and More than enough space for my family of six. Host provides all the amenities you need, with extre sheets, blankets and pillows. Room tvs could be upgraded so that you can use the firestick and other streaming devices. The tv downstairs worked very well with streaming devices.

Plenty of space. Clean. Had 9 deer show up to the back door one morning. Very cool! The only negative was the early morning call to sell a timeshare while I’m off and get to sleep in for a change. Just unplug the corded phone when you get there. Easy fix.

Very beautiful and spacious. The scenery was amazing. Gets pretty cold downstairs in the winter. One of the heating vents in the room was making a weird squeaky noise that can kinda keep you up at night. They may banded to look into that. But other than that. Me and my family had an amazing time. Can’t wait to come back next time.

Location mostly but the home had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and so spacious that we had a great time with our good friends. Booked for a JMU football game, 20 minutes away, and was truly a great value and option for us. Will stay there as much as needed.

Great place. Couple big outdoor pools. Loads of activities for kids and adults. Families of deer hanging out all around the property. We loved the waterpark too.

I was impressed with checking in, lady at the reception provided information about the resort and all the things we can use and see. I was very pleased. We did mountain biking, hiking and zip line. Went to indoor pool and jacuzzi. Overall lots of activity for entertainment and relax. Check out was easy. We had so much fun.

Chose this lodging while visiting our Granddaughter who is entry JMU. She brought her laundry with her and took advantage of the washer & dryer. Lots of deer in area; able to view from balcony. Also saw one ground from balcony. Easy access to Shenandoah National Park for great hiking and fall colors.

My family had an awesome weekend building great memories. I rented 4 houses close together and they were enormous and very spacious. We ate laughed and just enjoyed each other. The kids got to enjoy the pools and mountains and be kids. Planning to come back for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Can't wait to do it again next year. The houses were a perfect fit for what we needed for this family getaway. The best part was the price was right and I didn't have to do a tour to get it. I will most definitely be using them again in the future. We had so much fun cooking and enjoying each other's company that we didn't get to go to the go carts and other things there to enjoy what was there on the mountain. It's a must experience if you love the 🌄🌄🌄🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️. If you want to experience the mountains and build memories this is a great place to start. We had everything we needed in the house. Mountainside is a good and great place to stay for families and even for a romantic getaway as well. Everything was great no complaints at all very roomie

Loved EVERYTHING! The villas are exceptional! We are a family of 7 and we had PLENTY of room. We could've actually had 2 more people join us comfortably. The view was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean and stocked well. Getting the key / key code was a little difficult. We arrived after hours, so we had to go to a different location than what was originally sent to us to get the keys, but we were able to call the after hours check in number and the rep was able to give us the directions to the right place.

Everything, seeing deer several times a day was awesome. Our air cond unit did not work. I felt this should have been checked prior to our stay. We felt comfortable with just opening the windows and told the service tech this when he left after 9:00 pm. Once he left, we discovered window either would not open or the screens did not fit tightly. The service tech offered to move us, but being elderly and tired, this did not seem to be an easy option due to the steps to get everything moved. My husband has COPD and my mother is 87 so I did not want them to go through moving that late at night. The unit was beautiful but hot at night with no air flow.

This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon

This place was amazing. The check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. The resort area is huge, we were able to enjoy the pool, arcade, miniature golf, go cart and bumper cars just a short drive from our villas. There were other activities that we didn’t get to enjoy because of our short stay but there’s always something to do. The Villa exceeded our expectations, plenty of room for the entire family. The only negative thing we found was that the bedrooms or bathrooms didn’t have locks for privacy. Also the internet was unusable on the first day, however maintenance was sent to correct it first thing in the morning.

I just returned from a week vacation at Massanutten Mountain Side Villas…and it was beautiful, peaceful, and tons of privacy. We had a full kitchen and a huge jacuzzi. Anything you need they had it there. I am looking forward to our next stay. This has become a place for our relaxing get away.

Stayed 3 nights with my family after staying in DC for a conference and visiting AC in NJ. My children, ages ranging from 30 to 5, enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and seeing deer and other animals walking around the property. Ample space for my family of 7. These Condo townhomes truly have in home a large Jacuzzi tub and private 2 person Swedish type Sauna which is wonderful after a day spent skiing or snowboarding! Spacious Condo with so many amenities! The large kitchen has the quietest washer and Dryer to get your wet ski or hiking clothes clean and dry!

This place is a hidden gem! I read a lot of reviews about the older decor. Although some things were dated, they were in great condition. The place was very clean and well kept. Perfect location near the ski resort, snow tubing and other mountain activities. Walk to the ski resort took about 10 minutes. We had 6 people in our place and there was plenty of space. We are already planning our next getaway to this place. Hard to believe it cost wayyyyy less than other places up there.

Lots of things to do with the family in and outside of this massive resort. The indoor waterpark was great for the kids, (5 and 10 years old). (Not included in the price) We stayed in the two bedroom villa and it was plenty of space for us 4 and maybe two more. The furniture is a little outdated but in great clean condition. For the price this place is a great value. I used the fitness center with dumbells up to 95lbs. Which is plenty to get a good workout, as well as cable machines, smith cage and plenty of cardio equipment. Above all the customer service here was excellent and if stay here again with the family.

The villa was much bigger than we expected, with lots of open space and light. The slopes were only 3 mins drive, and we could see deer just behind the house while walking around - very quiet and the grounds were very well kept. The grown ups especially liked the well equipped kitchen, the sauna and double bath tub. The whole family, aged 3 to 73, enjoyed the villa, and we will definitely be back.

Seems like me and my family go twice a year now … I really need to become an owner I love this place… the atmosphere is so peaceful feels like a little piece of heaven

The place is amazing! Cleanliness is horrible!! This was my second time here, both times I had to vacuum because the floors were disgusting, tables and counters were dirty, bath tub disgusting, and there was dirty silverware on the kitchen floor. You shouldn’t have to go on vacation and clean your room BEFORE unpacking and they expect you to take your trash out and gather the linens together. What do you have house keeping for? They clearly don’t clean! At least you get fresh linens and towels..

We loved everything about our stay here. It was simply the best decision we could have made for our vacation this year. We had everything we needed from a kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cookware to an abundance of towels and extra pillows. Both pools are within walking distance, as is the go-kart track and mini-golf area. Toward the end of our stay, one of our 5 kids got sick (most likely from too much fun and snacks at the amazing waterpark the day before) and we found ourselves not quite ready to check out when we were supposed to. The manager Chris (spelling?) was so wonderful and helpful. She arranged for us to stay an extra night and couldn't have been more pleasant about the whole thing. She even called to check on us later in the day to see how my little guy was feeling and to make sure I wasn't still stressed out about trying to leave on time. We are all incredibly grateful she was working that day. I can't wait until next year! I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when we visit Massanutten Resort.

The staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful during check-in and chek-out. The villa was very spacious for six people and, surprisingly came furnished with a hot tub and sauna. My daughter-in-law wants to return again in the winter time if tubing is available for my grandchildren.

Horrendous driving coming traveling through Tennessee on the way up but a splendid stay once everyone finally arrived. Lots to do, lots of wildlife and a clean well maintained place to stay. Nearby Luray Caverns was a nice place to go. Drove back through skyline drive in the National Park for a great Saturday. Tubing, go carts, bumper cars and miniature golf for the grandkids . Jacuzzi was relaxing. Highly recommended...

I was surprised at how roomy the villa was! It had a large jacuzzi tub n a sauna which I did not expect in the room. Lots of things to do so u won't get bored! We are planning a trip back soon!!

This property was clean and everything you need to have a great stay. Stayed here to attend my daughter's graduation at JMU. Great for a large family stay instead of hotel and cheaper than staying at hotel. All bedding and towels are provided as well as having kitchen needs is an added plus. Would recommend staying here instead of local area hotel.

Property was larger than expected which made the stay nice and comfortable for 5 people. I would stay here again for sure. The only problem I had was on the confirmation email it said after 6pm that the office was closed and to go to main resort north lobby. I did that, waited 20-30 min only to be told it was open till 11pm. After a day of skiing, I was hungry and tired so this was inconvenient and slightly frustrating. However, the beautiful townhouse made up for it because once we were in there we had the best weekend! Just better communication on check in would be appreciated in the future!

This was our third stay. We love the villas, it's super close tobthr Mountainside activity and the views are great. The units are very comfy and stocked well. It's not fancy or luxurious...but it is comfy and family friendly. You'll feel like you're in a log cabin.

The townhome was clean and spacious. Gas fireplace and sauna were especially nice as was the balcony. Beautiful views. Quiet. The townhome is part of a timeshare property and as such, access to the gym was nice and free. Hiking was lovely. Local horseback

We love staying at the villas because you can bring your own food! So close to Shenandoah national park, amazing inclusions in room including a big jetted tub and sauna, super comfortable beds. Did a great job of keeping it safe during Covid.
