Cherry Cabin at Massanutten

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy home located in a beautiful mountain resort. The house was bright with many windows and offered a nice deck with a large backyard. It was very neat and clean with a well- furnished kitchen. We enjoyed utilizing the resort’s many amenities.

The house was nice. Slight cigarette odor and my dog found a cigarette wrapper in the house. The dogs next door constantly barked all morning. Liked the area.

Beautiful, comfortable, and clean cabin. The beds were so very comfy... I had the best sleep I've gotten in a long time! Every room was set up perfectly that made us feel right at home and able to relax.

Wonderful stay. The other reviews mention dogs but the dogs were not that loud and bothersome. We enjoyed the house and its location. Had everything we needed. Great hosts.

First of all, I would recommend this house to someone else! Had a great stay! And Trip Forth was SO easy to work with. I arrived to the house about an hour before check in, I called and they let us check in early bc the house was clean and inspected! The house was VERY clean. It is a pet friendly house so, to my surprise, I found no left over pet hair from any stays before us. The only thing I would “warn” you about it the kitchen. The pots and pans are slim pickings. If you are at capacity, bring some big cooking pots!! Also, no biggie but the random foods left from past guests was SO outdated. It needs a good walk thru of the random stuff to get rid of the old coffee and sugars etc. in the kitchen. I saw a couple reviews that mentioned barking dogs. Yes— there are dogs and yes they bark. But the house with the dogs is on the opposite side of the bedrooms. I also wish there was a couple extra towels for us. Although they do have a washer and dryer in the basement. Overall great stay!

We spent 3 nights here recently. The cabin was just as described and we very much felt at home. The master bedroom was VERY comfortable and roomy. Overall our stay was quiet and peaceful. Lots to do nearby, and the views along the way are spectacular!
( We did notice several dogs next door but they were not loud or bothersome!)

This was our first trip to Massanutten & the first time staying in the cabin. The host was very responsive & sent check-ins and reminders about check-out instructions, etc. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. It was centrally located to all of the activities on the Massanutten resort, so it was easy to get to and from anywhere with a little drive down the road. We will definitely be visiting again & staying there in the future trips.

The place was a great location to be able to drive up to Shenandoah National Park. The cabin was in a nice and safe resort area.
